The Podole voivode calls Podole land elders to come to an upcoming council in Sołobkowce to prepare a proportional allocation of the poll tax and to work on the land budget. During the council the last year’s land income and expenditures were supposed to be settled and the treasury assignation payment checked. The voivode declared his approval of both the previous and newly elected general rabbi at the office. A commissioner was to be appointed to watch the land council resolutions. Those land elders who would not participate in the council could lose their offices for life. If the delegates did not come to the council, the poll tax tariff could not be challenged by their kahals.
