Moszko Jankielewicz, a Jew from Brody, on the authority of Berko Rabinowicz and Joś Lejbowicz, marshals of the Ruthenian land, declares against Rogulski, the commissioner of Eustachy Potocki, the Crown cupbearer and the Tłumacz starost, on the illegal imprisonment of Berko Rabinowicz first in Radzyń in violation of the Sabbath day and then in Kurów and forcing him to sign an obligation in accordance with which 1) Berko Rabinowicz was to try to cancel the increase in the poll tax for Lublin Jews, passed at the Jarosław Council of the Four Lands; 2) Jews from the Lublin voivodeship should be represented at the council by two elders and should have two appraisers; 3-4) due to a fire, the communities of Radzyń Podlaski and Budzanów in the Potocki estate should pay half of the former poll tax contribution; and 5) accordingly, the poll tax rate should be reduced for Jews from the town of Krzywcze (belonging to the Podole land) and Jews from the city of Tłumacz, which is a minor kahal under the jurisdiction of the Tyśmienica kahal.
