The elders of the Ruthenian voivodeship concluded a contract for wyderkauf with Józef Ossoliński, the Crown court standard-bearer and the starost of Sandomierz, for the sum of 20,000 zlotys from which the annual commission was to amount to 10%. The total amount of 20,000 zlotys was to be returned after 15 years. To pay a commission of 2000 zlotys per year, the land elders appointed the kahal in Lesko; in exchange they pledged not to enter the Lesko Jews into the allocations sent to the Crown treasury.
