Protestation by a leaseholder against Crown elders

Kielman Jonowicz [?] a leaseholder of the inn and brewery in Bircza, the town of [Mikołaj Rola] Janicki, the Cupbearer of Inflanty , and in the village of Kr [...] Remer, on behalf of himself and Jewish leaseholders in the Ruthenian and other voivodships, protests against deputies elected to the Jewish tribunal in Jarosław and the trustees of the Crown Jews as well as against rabbis, who overburden the leaseholders, despite their impoverishment due to taxes, by adopting a tax higher than that paid to the Crown Treasury, and claims that the tariff established by them is invalid.
