Lawsuit against the elders of Dobromil

Lawsuit to the Tax Tribunal in Radom of the 4th March 1748 for Berek Dawidowicz, Abraam or Abel Jakubowicz, Izrael Lejbowicz, Abraam Hajmowicz and other elders of the Synagogue of Dobromil by Jan [Karol] Mniszch, Lithuanian Chamberlain, and Andrzej Milewski, the main steward of the Mniszch's estate, as well as the infidels: Mendel Moszkowicz, Herszek Koplewicz, Abraham Aronowicz and Zuzman Józefowicz from Chyrów. They accused the elders of Dobromil that, contrary to the agreement signed in 1744 and the ratified, they arbitrarily increased the tax, charging the Chyrów estates with the poll tax tariff and informed the treasury that the payment would be 400 zlotys for Zaputyński, the deputy of the armoured cavalry unit of the Crown Chancellor.
