Debenture bond by the elders of the Crown Jews
Izrael Samuelowic, speaker, and the elders of the Crown Jews, assembled at the Four Lands’ Council congress in Lublin commit themselves to pay the debt of 530 Reichstalars incurred by the Jews of the Republic from the Wrocław merchant Georg Miltnern von Miltenberg. The payment will be made within twelve years during the St. Elizabeth fair. If, however, due to natural disasters or war, the payment is not made, the speaker and the elders commit themselves to pay an additional 6% commission. If this agreement is not kept, the cosignatories grant the permission to sequestrate Jews in Wrocław and other towns.
