Universal of Paweł Karol Sanguszko to land elders regarding the Kraków land rabbi

Paweł Karol Sanguszko orders the governors of Opatów and Tarnów to announce the ban on paying debts to the former land rabbi and forbids Jews to consider him a rabbi and be subject to his jurisdiction; at the same time he recommends the publicizing in the synagogue of his approval of the new rabbi Józef Jona Ickowicz and orders all Jews to obey him under the penalty of 200 ducats.
