Universal by King Jan Kazimierz regarding the Jews not paying the Jewish poll tax
King Jan Kazimierz, replying to the complaint by the elders of the Crown Jews that some Jews are evading the poll tax invoking the protection of their respective masters, orders all offices and officials to lend all required aid to the collectors of the Jewish poll tax.
