Letter of Treasurer Sedlnicki on the argument between the Zamość Entailed Estate and the Chełm-Bełz land
Karol Odrowąż Sedlnicki received a complaint from the land elders of the Zamość Entailed Estate and, in response, he reprimands Heszel, a trustee of Crown Jews, and other Chełm-Bełz land elders for not informing the Jews of the Zamość Entailed Estate about the congress of Crown Jews in Konstantynów during which the delegates of the Bełz voivodeship and the Chełm land, together with the Jews of the Zamość Entailed Estate, should deliberate, prepare an allocation, and elect land officials from among themselves. He orders an immediate end to the existing conflict.
