Lawsuit to the tax tribunal for the land elders of Lublin for raising the poll tax for the Jews from Piaski
The elders of the community of Piaski: Eliasz Ickowicz, Lejba Nochymowicz, Szmul Kalmanowicz, Irsz Ickowicz and Szmul Osierowicz, assisted by Teodor Suchodolski, the Starost of Omelnik and landlord of the estate of Piaski, sue Józef Sendrowicz, a rabbi from Opole, Jokiew, a rabbi from Lubartów, Lejba from Kurów and Marek Fiszlowicz from Bełżyce, the land elders of Lublin, to the tax tribunal in Radom that, despite a compromise which had been reached, and not taking into account the poor condition of the community caused by the fire or the protestation in this case, they unlawfully raised the poll tax for the Jews from Piaski
