Settlement between the Luboml kahal and the Włodzimierz kahal regarding the affiliation of minor towns

In order to end the ongoing dispute, under the threat of curse and under oath, the elders of the kahal in Luboml and of Włodzimierz Wołyński, along with the land elders of Włodzimierz, made a settlement based on which the Jews from the settlements of Hajki, Jachodne, Turyczany, Stawki Wielkie, and Duliby were subject to the supremacy and jurisdiction of the Luboml community and its rabbi. In particular, they were obliged to bury their dead there; arrange circumcision ceremonies, weddings, and wedding receptions; and participate in services taking place in the Luboml synagogue. Conversely, the inhabitants of Owłoczym were to recognize the supreme authority and jurisdiction of the community in Włodzimierz Wołyński. Each party declared that it would not accept Jews from the villages belonging to the other party. The agreement was approved by the Treasurer Karol Odrowąż Sedlnicki.
