Universal of Crown Treasurer Karol Sedlnicki to the land elders of Greater Poland
Grand Crown Treasurer Karol Odrowąż Sedlnicki orders the land elders of Greater Poland to come to Kobylin on July 24, 1760, to arrange a new sympla (general allocation) and to settle the repayment of the debts of the Greater Poland communities, especially the heavily indebted Leszno kahal. In addition, the universal establishes the procedure for the selection of appraisers. Each community paying at least 1,000 zlotys tax will automatically be entitled to one appraiser. The other municipalities will select their appraisers by lot.
