Declaration by the Radom Treasury Tribunal regarding the Jewish poll tax
The Tribunal postpones the drafting of the new tariff until the next gathering of the Diet of Commonwealth, and orders the Crown Jews to produce a tariff of Jewish settlements on 1st August 1718, based on the sympla (general allocation) agreed on in Jarosław, without hindering the rights of voivods. Jews of the Ukraine and Polesie are forbidden from paying the poll tax to the Lithuanian Treasury. Military deputies are allowed to charge a grosch from every zloty of collected tax. Protection is not to be extended to Jews. In the case of the Jews of Cracow, the Crown scribe is to pay the Cracow voivode the sums that are his due. Jews are forbidden from collecting tolls and selling wine.
