Lawsuit to the tax tribunal for the land elders of Kraków and Sandomierz concerning the raised orders of payment for the Jews from Rudnik

Jews from Rudnik: Szymon Majerowicz, Jakub Notowicz, Moszek Szkutnik, together with Marcin Darecki, the administrator of the Rudnik estate, belonging to Stanisław Potocki, the Voivode of Kiev, sue to the tax tribunal in Radom Abram Chaimowicz, the Marshal General of the Crown Jews, Icek Opoczyński, the trustee of Krakow and Sandomierz Jewish self-government, Józef Haskielowicz and Wolf Haskielowicz, land elders of Krakow-Sandomierz , who did not take into consideration the impoverishment and the small number of Jews in Rudnik, who had even lost their own rabbi, and raised significantly their poll tax, imposing on them in 1754 the obligation to pay the orders of payment for two cavalry units of Kraśniewski and Lanckoroński of 462 złp (with the additional costs - 593złp). The plaintiffs claim from the defendants a return of 493 złp and the coverage of the damage.
