Universal of Łęczyca voivode, Rafał Leszczyński, on accounting for treasury assignations of the Jews of Greater Poland
Rafał Leszczyński, Łęczyca voivode and general starost of Greater Poland, received complaints from treasury deputies, and, therefore, he commands the Jews of Kalisz and Poznań voivodeships to come with receipts and accounts to his hereditary city Leszno by December 12, 1693, to settle accounts and receive assignations. He also orders a clarification of the allegations regarding the land elder Wulf, a Jew of Kalisz accused of embezzling money taken from loans and the Jewish taxes that had been collected.
