Lawsuit by the deputy of a cavalry unit against the land elders of Przemyśl
The information on the filing of a lawsuit of the 18th April 1732, to the tax tribunal in Radom against Józef Markowicz from Jarosław, Izrael Lewkowicz from Dobromil and other land elders of the region of Przemyśl, at the accusation of Mikołaj Stawski, the Cupbearer of Sanok and a companion of the Dobrowolski light cavalry unit, because they did not pay the order of payment, issued in Warsaw on the 21st October, 1730 by the Treasurer Franciszek Maksymilian Ossoliński with the signature of a treasury scribe (quarter and hiberna), Antoni Grodzicki, the Cupbearer of Zator, and also in the case concerning the incorrectly issued orders of payment, 1. the amount of 220 złp for the armoured cavalry unit of the late [Stanisław Chometowski], the voivode of Mazovia from Kopel, a former land elder, 2. 200 złp for this unit from a Jew from Piskorowice from the Zamoyski estates.
