Protestation by Walenty Błoński against the land elders of Przemyśl

Walenty Błoński from Biberstyn, on his behalf and his father, Jan, the landlord of Bircza in the land of Przemyśl, Józef and Franciszek Humnicki, the sons of the Pantler of Bielsk, Tomasz Humnicki, the heirs of the second half of Bircza, made a protestation against the rabbis Michał Szmujłowicz from Przemyśl, Moszko Szmojłowicz from Jarosław and Major Oszorowicz from Dobromil . The rabbis, not paying attention to the deplorable state of the Jews in Bircza, raised up the tax from the town and village Malawa and Lipa from the former amount of 130 to 150 zlotys (in the general tariff passed at the Jewish Congress).
