Lawsuit to the castle court office of Stężyca for the land elders of Lublin concerning an unpaid wiederkauf rent by the kahal of Kozienice
The Benedictine convent from Sieciechów sues Józef Aleksandrowicz, a rabbi from Opole, Jakub Abramowicz, a rabbi from Lubartów, Lewek Szmulowicz from Kurów, Jonas Percowicz from Lubartów, Berek Abramowicz from Kraśnik and Szloma Chaimowicz from Zwoleń, the land elders of Lublin, to the castle court office of the town of Stężyca, for not receiving the annual rent (7%) from a wiedrkauf for the sum of 4,000 zlotys, recorded in the castle court records of the town of Stężyca on 30th September 1754, to the punctual payment of which – on the feast of Michał Archangel (29th September) – the land elders had obliged the kahal in Kozienice.
