Settlement between the Lipsk and Narol elders on community income sharing

Lipsko and Narol kahal elders concluded an agreement on the income from the lease of the so-called krupka, i.e. the consumption tax paid jointly by Jews from both communities for butchery and commercial activity. It was established that two scribes, one from each community, were to supervise the proceeds from this tax. Likewise, the poll tax should also be levied together with the funeral tax on rural leaseholders. Income from these taxes should be spent on the Jewish poll tax, followed by the repayment of debts. The city that does not keep the contract should pay 150 marks to the castle and the land elders.
