Universal of the Ruthenian Voivode August Czartoryski regarding the selection of a new Ruthenian trustee

In connection with a vacancy in the office of the trustee of Jews of the Ruthenian province, not occupied since the death of Marek Rabinowicz, Ruthenian Voivode August Aleksander Czartoryski, orders Ruthenian Jews to choose a successor to Rabinowicz during this year’s convention, reserving for himself the right to confirm the future elect.
