Universal of Jan III Sobieski on the settlement of the tax bills of Jews from Bełz voivodeship
King Jan III Sobieski orders Ruthenian rabbis from Zhovkva, Lviv, and Dubno, acting as arbitrators, and his factor Chona Markowicz to appear with the delegates from Jewish communities (two elders from each town) at the appointed place to settle and arrange the tax bills of Jews from the Bełz voivodeship and at the same time to reduce tax for the poorest.
