Universal of Crown Treasurer Jan Andrzej Morsztyn on the poll tax of Crown Jews
Grand Crown Treasurer Jan Andrzej Morsztyn informs tax collectors that according to the diet constitution of 1673, Crown Jews are exempted from paying other taxes due to the fact that the Jewish poll tax of 105 thousand zlotys was levied on them. Therefore they shall not pay the general poll tax despite the printed instruction in which they were mentioned as taxpayers according to the 1662 tariff.
