He has sued the land elders of Rus for the overtaxation of Jews residing on Rzewuski’s land (specifically Chodorów and Rozdół) to the court of the general commissar of the Treasury, Kazimierz Granowski. However, Granowski ruled against Rzewuski and under an oath cleared the elders of all the charges
