​Protestation against the land elders of Volhynia concerning and illegally incurred debt

Jakub Grochowicki, a plenipotentiary of Paweł Karol Sanguszko, Great Marshall of Lithuania, protests against the agreement concluded by some of the land elders of Volhynia with Stefan Czacki, Volhynian Master of the Hunt. He considers the agreement to be unlawful because, according to him, the land elders have no right to incur debts without the consent of the landlords. He declares, on behalf of his principal, that he does not allow to collect any money for this debt in his property. In the event of the breach of this prohibition he promises to reclaim his rights at court
